Yes but I'm not so sure he'd get the nod. SRR activity might get him the nod. I know Mayweather isn't getting sparked though. He'll go the 12 and lose on the cards at worst.
Would Floyd Mayweather have any chance against Ray Robinson?

The era often at times looked lost or hesitant this is the same era you crazy people say Louis would do good was from vs people in 70s-90s which he had the same outdated skills and movement these dudes look horrible compare to 70s-90s you would be able to see this if you had good vision or watched matches everything I say is fact on video
Floyd fought people in amateurs who moved better on top of more advanced movement with skillsLast edited by Ascended; 10-01-2022, 04:30 PM.Comment

Robinson is over hyped man, lots of the ancient fighters from the old days were stat padders. They all feasted on the bums of the months club.
Mayweather easily outboxes Robinson.Comment

Also missing lots of advanced movements Floyd's era had people who he beat who were way more advanced then srr era which looks trash only crazy idiots say a man that outdated beats floydComment

similar in punch style to sugar but more advanced and quicker he was caught by a quick great counter and got up and had to start retreating cause he had nothing to give floyd trouble
So floyd runs though srr in 1Last edited by Ascended; 10-01-2022, 05:11 PM.Comment

He might have meant he fought over 90% bums.
SRR is history polished, no doubt was great but his resume is really poor, I actually think he wouldn't be anywhere near as big today, I tell you something just extend Ennis resume to 200 bouts with 90% being the same class he has been fighting and he would have 200 wins and at least 180 kos , now how would that look in history in the 1940s.
Could Floyd beat him maybe, the biggest issue is Floyd is such a small WW when looking at history's greatest WWs, in all these Floyd vs great WWs, Floyd is really a LW-JWW.that was good enough to be top WWS, that size really goes against him in these debates.Comment

Srr fought in the 40s floyd was in 90s like thats a way more advanced era like you need to watch matches saying ****** stuff the 40s were trash compared they all look stiff and outdated srr activity as it was would get him koed cause he tiptoed alot and looked sloopy throwing punches inside the body

Size and measurables also matter. Add SRR had great hand speed. It's not going to be easy for Floyd to win.
Also, notice I said SRR would possibly beat Floyd just by being more active. Meaning, judges perception would favor SRR not SRR being better than Floyd outright.
The same reason I think SRL would trouble Floyd greatly is why I think SRR would. They are bigger guys with comparable speed and footwork. Floyd can be more skilled but p4p exists for a reason. Bigger guys with just as much hand speed. Floyd would fight defensively and won't find it easy or convenient to counter them either. As they both had great boxing IQs as well.
So, take that as you will but that's just the reality. SRR compares favorably to Floyd, whether ancient boxing or not. Punching is punching whether it is 2009 or 2109.Comment
