CompuBox reviews the worst decisions, based on their punch stats, for 2011 - including Robert Helenius vs. Dereck Chisora at heavyweight, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Sebastian Zbik at middleweight, and Felix Sturm made it there twice with his fights against Matthew Macklin and Martin Murray, both at middleweight. Felix Sturm has got some nerve showing his face in public. Macklin was comfortably the better boxer in their fight, yet was utterly robbed by the bent judges. It's making me pretty angry just thinking about it again.

Chisora DID NOT land that many punches. . . unless they count punches caught on the gloves or elbows. . . i didn't think any of those fights were "robberies". . .

by far the biggest robbery was williams/lara. . . and that was somewhat close in total punches landed. . . but i guess they were counting williams' landed punches like they were chisora's. . .

Compubox is rubbish, not only is it irrelevant, it is highly inaccurate.

Agree it has nothing at all to do with how boxing is scored, I like it as a tool for reflection but if ppl are going to abuse it and use it as some justification for who won a fight then I would favor doing away with it and that lame ass punch zone

compubox=worthless...worse part is, at least before we only had it clouding public opinion and commentary on hbo, espn.....now we have punchstats in showtime as well....someone needs to do away with them already, but it seems like theyre taking over

Good point, I find it useful too sometimes, but it does not explain how a fight unfolded. And, you covered the relevance, but I also think that compubox is inaccurate, sometimes highly inaccurate.

No. He was the TV man for NBC, insisting the fight was up for grabs going into 12 after Dorsey had worked Paez.
