Did Mayweather act the way he does now before he started hanging with 50 cent?

he has been like this for as long as I can remember, before 50 cent even made "Get Rich or Die Tryin" Floyd and his family were all getting in trouble already.

I don't know when he started hanging out with 50 but before 2002-2004 he didn't act like this. He was ****y, but he also wore sweater vests and glasses at the time.

Yes. Just watch his first few fights. He was even more ****y at times than he is now. He also was like that around the time he fought Gatti and 50 wasn't around then

no but ive seen early pro fight interviews and he still has that same confident/****y swagger, but more humble.

He's always been ****y because he's always been good, he decided to turn it up a notch after he realized it would bring him more $$ and asses in seats.

In 1999, HBO gave Floyd a seven fight, $12.5 million contract. At the time, that type of contract for a boxer of his caliber was unheard of. Floyd called it a "slave contract" and turned it down. So yes, he's always acted like a douche.
