Comments Thread For: DeGale’s Return Still Not Set, Warren Eyes Bigger Fight

Frank Warren Promotions are still working on James DeGale’s next fight despite Liverpool’s Echo Arena revealing that the mooted January 27th date set aside for DeGale and an undercard featuring the likes of Joe Selkirk and the Smith brothers is no longer in play.

Looks like DeGale has joined the ranks of Fighters that wants a piece of Carl Froch.

Franks gone bankrupt, we know this, DeGale will get smashed to bits when he fights decent oposition, he cant move his feet, against the likes of Dirrell he will get out boxed, and a good pressure fighter like Abraham would retire him inside 6 rounds. DeGale cant fight off the back foot or get his foot outside, he is hype and Frank is a mug. Nick Quigley looks good though, sign that kid up.

Are you being serious ? fighting on the back foot is Degale's bread and butter and he doe's it very very well for a fighter that's still a novice in boxing terms.

Fighting on the front foot is what he needs to improve on he doesn't press and cut off the ring well enough but he's still learning and it will come in time.

If i was Degale's promoter i would put him in with Kelly Pavlik or Abraham any any day of the week, they are tough fights but he's got the skills to beat either of them and a few of the challengers i'd get him the wbo belt thats a belt up for grabs and begging to be taken then move him along from there.

You mustn't be watching deagle's fights if you think he cant fight on the back foot watch the Paul smith fight and you can see for your self.

Yes Ive watched basically all of DeGales best fights and Wilczewski nearly finished him off and it was very fortunate he had home advantage to get that decision. In that fight did you not see him on the ropes getting smashed? or did you see him double jabing slipping and sliding using angles like pac or silakh I sure as hell didnt. I will bet some of your points that if he fights Abraham forgett Smith he is not an athlete and is nowhere near as strong as Abraham, Abraham would knock him out. Jo Jo Dan vs Aydin comes to mind thats what will happen.

He's only had 12 fight's you silly silly person and hes the European champion already pacquiao has had 1 short of 60 pro fights and Abraham's had 35 pro fights so comparing the two to a 12 fight novice doesn't really work for your argument does it Piotr Wilczewski has had 31 pro fights and degale beat him hes a tough fighter Piotr Wilczewski not a walk over for any fighter Degale needs experience thats all you really need to get your self down to specs savers and get your eyes checked and then watch every one of his fights and come back with something credible to say as i have seen every single pro fight and including Olympic and before then.

Your just a plain hating moron

Your the silly person, you say in your own response that you want to see him fight Abraham or Pavlik and now your saying he is not ready! your a contradiction. Yes Wilczewski had a paded record moron and lost to a fighter with a lot less experience than James. If DeGale needs experience then why is he not fighting the walk over Spaniard, again you fail. You sound like a 12 year old, learn to have a constructive debate rather than resorting to play ground insults and stop being a ***ing sheep and a gay boy. Bend over for DeGale you ***.

Even as a 12 fight novice i still pick him to beat either of those two but to fight the best of the division aka ward, froch, bute, kesslerr, dirrell he needs more time and experience because all of those are skillful opponents pavliks a sloppy fighter and mess and abraham can't box for **** easy winable fights for degale how about i bend you over and take your ******ity ? i wont do it softly either it will hurt and you would be the gay one for taking it .
