I am surprised to see most people favor Marquez.

Let's be clear, JMM is a great fighter, but he has more than one disadvantage against Bradley in my opinion.

Style. Although he sometimes trades when he should be moving (not as often as in the Provodnikov fight though), Bradley has fast hands and a good jab. He can double or triple it up well while moving laterally. That would force JMM to lead. (Mayweather, for instance, used his jab way more often than his usual in the fight against Marquez, that is no coincidence).

Age. Marquez is 40, you cannot expect any athlete to be physically prime at 40. He cannot outwork Bradley, who, on the other hand, has very good stamina. You do not survive like he did against Provodnikov if you are not in top shape.

Marquez is slick, he sets traps and makes you pay if you fall for his bait, he will surely have his moments, but I don't see Bradley walking into a right hand like Pac. Bradley will respect Marquez, won't go there to knock him out as he did against Provodnikov (or like Pacquiao in his IV fight against JMM).

I wonder if opinions will change now that this fight is close to being reality?
