Any welterweight with a remotely decent inside game crushes Khan. Even the longer ones with good power crush him. Freddy Roach's entire stable of fighters are overrated.
I agree with most of this^^^^^^^but Roach is the overrated one imo....Khan is my dude but Roach has got to go....brother Naz and Khan would be a tight mix....maybe its just my ****** bias

But the fighter is only as good as his trainer. Cotto is the best recent example. Cotto's back barely touched the ropes, he never let a Margo shot go unanswered, he turned him, bullied him & stuck to the gameplan. Credit goes to the trainer.

Khan has glaring mistakes that Roach hasn't corrected, Pacman too. 2 cherrypicks gone horribly wrong. Roach needs to train Khan on his inside game & get Manny to learn to cut the ring off, he can't keep blaming it on cramps. They're his fighters & he's getting exposed. Mitt work is 100% of the sport.

I think Khan's plan was to beat Bradley, becoming WBA/IBF/WBO champ, and have a legitimate claim to having cleaned out 140. Obviously Bradley had no intention of fighting him and the Peterson defeat leaves the plan in tatters. He should therefore stay at 140 until he achieves what he'd planned to.

Khan should train with Pernell Whitaker, he needs to learn some defense

Nobody is making excuses, we are replying to comments made by dibella saying he was suprised at Khan not bullying Peterson. And it is a valid point that peterson put on 15 pounds in between weigh-in and fight night. It was a risk but it worked. Khan proved in the early rounds that his skill set is leagues beyond Petersons but Peterson had the will to win. Peterson's defence was suprisingly good in the fight which meant Khan punching a lot and not landing the shots peach, they were scoring shots but not hurtful ones. As Khan has moved up weight classes his legs have got stronger and has looked to trade bacuase of that. He should stick to what he does, if he has the discipline to do that for 12 rounds then he would beat any fighter barring Pacman and Mayweather.

Khan should move up to 147 and see just how those punches feel....he'd make the move back to 140 in short notice.
