    L. Peterson vs Rios

I think if Peterson and Riis were to fight I would favor Peterson. The reason I would have to favor Peterson is that he is more versatile. Plus we all know he can adjust very well. The biggest factor is that Rios won't have 15lbs over Peterson. It will be a good hard fight but I see LP winning a wide UD it will be Cotto vs Margo 2 .

Peterson simply doesn't have the power to keep Rios off. Rios stops him after an accumulation of punishment

Peterson body shots will hurt anyone @ 140. Rios has a great chin but the body always goes. Peterson cant just **** with Rios but his inside work is a thing of beauty. Rios is way to easy to hit. Lamont doesn't have at ton of power but I bet he hits about as hard as anyone @ 135 and Rios has been hurt before. Ortiz was bigger then Rios @ 140 and Ortiz couldn't finish Lamont. I think it would be a tough fight for both of them honestly.

How do. You know that Rios chin is good at 140 he will weight as much as Peterson. Cotto punches couldn't stop Margo but look what he did

I think that Rios will be in for a rude awakening at 140. Not only will he lack the physical advantages that he was used to at 135 by draining himself into a grotesque zombie, but he won't have the same type of power. There is a big difference between the John Murray's of the world and people like Lucas Matthysse or even Lamont Peterson in this case. As long as Peterson fights smart, I can see him wearing down and stopping Rios late since Rios has been extremely susceptible to being hurt by body punches as he's been hurt and dropped by them. If Rios comes in at 155+ or so and drains himself like he always does, then things start to get very interesting.
