Did seem that NY was the best choice for a fight that WAS going to happen regardless bcse of there standards and there was little doubt to me that they were going to stop the fight asap were weaker states might of let it go longer than it should have
GOOD READ: Commission failed miserably when it licensed Margarito

well i think the nysac pulled this off very well... that was one hell of a risky decision to give license to a boxer half blind on one eye (poor peripheral vision = can't see well beyond what your eye is focused at or it's blurred).Comment

If all the information re. which treatments he received and the level of risk he's at is accurate, he shouldn't box again.
Incredible that that Margarito, one-eyed, slow, was able to give Cotto such a rough, tough fight with such an uncertain outcome (had the bout not been stopped).Comment

Well who cares lol fok it. It's a fight, it's boxing, it's a war of death. And they are worried about an.. eye?!? Romans or whatever used to fight to death and decapitate and mutilate each other no matter their condition.
Margarito still fought like a roman warrior and felt no pain just a swollen eye. I've fought with swollen face and broken retinas in street fights and I fight days after.Comment
