For having gone through just a big tournament, Ward sure hasn't done much to make any new fans based on his tv ratings, twitter or facebook accounts.

Kessler has over 200k fans on his Facebook fan page.

Ward has less than 15k.

I can see what Froch is saying but what someone "deems" exciting is all relative when it comes to boxing. I am a boxing purist so I truly enjoy watching superb technicians/pure boxers like JMM, Floyd, Ward, Malignaggi, etc. On the other hand I enjoy ****ers too like Rios, Gatti, Corrales, etc. I am a fan of almost all styles, except hugging BS like John Ruiz used to pull. I hate to say it, but the more humble and nice you are as a boxer, it seems as though you have less fans. Boxing is obviously a violent male demographic sport so most want to see blood, KO's, **** talking, ridiculous antics....I get it. It is entertainment as well, not just a sport. I have mixed feelings though because I am such a purist, and watching 2 guys fight at the highest technical skill level of the sport, is just amazing to me. I think the fans that Ward does not have or seem to be getting are the fair-weather fans. If guys want bloody 1 punch KO type fights, go watch the UFC where no one can take a punch lol. When those mma guys throw punches, the fight is usually over in a round, because one of them goes to sleep.
