I honestly would not be surprised if Mayweather was released by February.
Either way a the judge and Nevada has made their point. They will not tolerate any more crap from Mayweather, and this will definitely calm Floyd down.

As far as his career in the ring, I see no effect as far as popularity. . More people will probably tune in to his fight, similar to how Tyson's popularity was higher when he was released.

Once out Mayweather will have a "tune up" with either Berto (if he beats Ortiz) Pacquiao will fight Bradley, and then in the fall we will have the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight. That is when it is going to happen.

Alright, so this is likely how this will play out.
Mayweather will remain in segregation due to his star status. It's a matter of keeping order as much a possible in the detention facility, nothing more. He's not special, but his star status makes him special to keep order in jail, so he gets segregated.
He'll serve 2/3 of his time there first and foremost. That said, he'll serve 60 out of 90 days. (Roughly two months). So he could be out, barring any new charges, as late as the first/second week of March. This would include the behavioral credit incurred from the 2/3 formula. (Take the total sentence date, divide by four, and multiply by two). That's the formula I use at work, and I assume it's a similar formula used by Nevada.
However, if he does work detail, he will get additional credit and get out earlier still. Don't make the mistake of thinking this additional work credit is a lot, it's not. It's more like 7-14 days at most. So I would say Floyd gets out anywhere from late February to mid March.

even though floyd may only be locked up for a couple of months, i wonder how his body will be..

somebody like floyd stays in shape year-round, year after year. He could jump back into training after his release but im not sure he will ever be the same..

just because you have plenty of time to get acclimated again to your regular freedom diet doesnt mean somebody who stays in shape every day of the year is gonna return to normal 100% after 2 months in jail
