well as a marquez fan im pleased that he will probably get another fight with pac early next year. if you forget mayweather exists, this is a fcukin good fight for the fans.

but as a boxing fan im disappointed that we wont be getting mayweather vs pacquiao on may 5th.

either way they need to get it on this year. and even then, its still way passed its sell by date. this fight should have happened right after pac beat cotto.

Sergio Martinez was a JR middle weight champion as well. Pac fought and won his title vacantly. Sergio was stripped so that Pac could get his 8th title. Sergio wanted 150 but Pac said 147, so if he fights Cotto at 150/154 then you should not be denying what it was/is. also, Cotto should not be a jack ass and fight Pac at another catch weight for his title. If Pac wants it then he should come up to 154 or else nothing but knowing Cotto, he wants to get paid and thinks he will get revenge and takes the fight at 150 but Pac will probably kick his ass again.

Could not agree with you more but once Pac became a big name the ego struggles stopped the fight from happening. Fight lost some steam BIG TIME after the 3rd Marquez fight. If Pac fights him again a 4th time and the same results happens as the 3rd or even worse for Pac (which I'm thinking it will because of Marquez's confidence) Pac's career as a top fighter are over. Not just saying that as hater but rather that is exactly what will happen.

This will turn out to be a nightmare for Manny! If he fights Marquez again, and its close, Marquez might get the decision this time. And to be honest, I truthfully think that Bradley beats Manny at this stage of his career. Both situations will be the end for a mega fight with Floyd.
