So due to one not so great outing against cordoba, either rigo had a bad night or is exposed? Or what if cordoba may be underrated simply because of a lack of exposure? Either way if a fighter isn't perfect in every outing he must be either overrated or exposed. People seem to forget we're human beings after all. No such thing as perfection. Wake up people, geez

Rigo is a great boxer-puncher who is still finding his groove in the pros. People talk down on Cordoba but the dude is a talented boxer who beat Caballero at Cabas best weight, and had 39 professional fights heading into the fight while Guillermo only had 6. I wouldnt say it was a bad night, just a boring tactical performance by both guys at least to the average fan. Cordoba was also pretty tall for his weight class and that would make it difficult for anyone.
I think Rigo has too much poise to fall into a trap like Shimoda did against Ramos. People forget Rico was getting outboxed the entire fight he just landing one good shot, and Rico isnt a big puncher regardless of what people say. It was a shot the Jap didnt see coming, and that was it for him. I think if Rico tries that type of fight with Memo he gonna get KOed with a good counter because he leaves himself open too much and doesnt throw enough combos to earn rigos respect.

Nonetheless, although Guillermo is tremendously talented, he's still growing into the pro game. I haven't seen Nishioka in action, but Nonito is a major step up. Even with major talent, is it advisable to have Rigo go into a fight with Donaire after so few pro fights?

Rigo is awesome but he turned pro to late. I think when he retires he will have only about 20 pro fights. For his weight class hes getting old already. And thats no weight class where you can perform well when you are over 35.
