    Ward.

Calzaghe had output but he hasn't fought anyone with the skill, adaptation, or boxing IQ of Ward.

Andre Ward wins in a decision.

Why is there no option for Calzaghe by decision?

          That's the most likely outcome.

The Calzaghe that had that run against Lacey & Kessler could have possibly pulled a 115-113 points win over Ward. His southpaw flurries (e.g. Seven slaps in one second) may have led to pulling out enough rounds in that last 30 seconds of each to edge a decision. Compubox was designed for fighters like Calzaghe that can bull**** close rounds with the smoke-n-mirrors of open glove taps and then moving back out of range. But rest assured Ward would have been a whole nother creature b/c unlike Kessler, prime Lacey, old ass Hopkins, shot to **** Jones etc., Andre Ward has the chops to cut off the ring and make this a phone booth (throwback) type of fight...kind of like Kessler did in the middle rounds but couldn't sustain the "walk down" process.

Just a mistake the 4th poll should be Joe by decision. You think Joe's gonna outbox Ward?

i think ward would win easily under most circumstances. only way calzaghe has a chance is if he has a ref that doesn't allow any inside fighting like cortez and constantly resets the action which allows joe to get off more punches. otherwise ward would catch calzaghe while he tries to come inside then when he's inside he would rough him up while calzaghe just looks to hold and get reset. watch the bika fight he's utterly lost on the inside and gets worn down and is dead tired the last 3 rounds. compare that to the hopkins fight with no inside fighting which allowed calzaghe to come on late(ward probably has better stamina than hopkins anyway)

if he does get a ref like cortez ward should be be able to bank enough rounds to win anyway with clean punches before calzaghe comes on late but you never know. if that does happen i could see calzaghe getting another "i threw more punches than you kinda decision" but that all depends on who's the A-side in the fight.
