I agree with you completely but Martinez is not doing himself any favors by giving that same 150 offer to every WW. Victor Ortiz took notice of this and said he would fight Martinez at 150. To Floyd, who never said a word about what weight he would fight Martinez at like Team Pac, Martinez said himself that he would fight Floyd at 150.

So Martinez had to say that the 150 offer was only for the little catchweight king Manny Pacquiao, and then say to all you true fighters out there who don't need a CW to show your greatness, fight me at 154+. But he has shot himself in the foot by keeping that 150 offer for all WW's.

With any other middleweight, Cotto going to the full 160 would be ******, but for Martinez it's doable because they'll be around the same size whether it takes place at 155 or 160. Martinez was 165 in his last fight and Cotto probably weighs around that area as well.
They would both be around 165. Who do u think would win?

I don't wanna see Sergio looking sick weighing 150 pounds. 154 and up. Cotto and Mayweather are the 2 who really migjht figjht him. Whatys sad is that we got a guy his size (Chavez) and he wants nothing to do with Sergio.

While I think Martinez would win, I don't know why people are saying this would be an easy fight for Martinez. Cotto is a much better fighter than Williams, Cintron, Pavlik, Dzinziruk and it would probably be Martinez' toughest challenge yet.

Ortiz claimed they put words in his mouth and wasn't really interested in a Martinez fight though.

I'd rather see him fight Arthur Abraham or someone else at 160. Stop trying to fight small guys.
