Lennox Lewis was dominant in the year 2000, I'll give him that. He was probably the best of his three-fight one-year era (year 2000). But Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Rid**** Bowe would all beat him at their best. Frank Bruno was winning every round against Lennox Lewis (Bruno out-jabbed Lennox Lewis for six rounds), and Ray Mercer clearly beat Lennox Lewis, and Vitali Klitschko was clearly beating Lennox Lewis.
if he wanted to be. what is that? juyjuy do me a favor because i dont get it. pull eubanks sack out of your mouth and tell me what fighter wouldnt want to be the fighter of the decade. why would anyone fight at all if they didnt want to be great? i dont **** without wanting to make a great turd. i couldnt imagine being a pro boxer and not wanting to be fighter of the decade.

The question for the poll being "Who was the best British boxer" My vote goes to Lennox Lewis, but for "Who is the best British boxer" My vote would then go to Ricky Hatton.

Eubank openly admitted that he was only in boxing for the money, he called it a "mug's game". The guy doesn't like boxing.

WHy do you just spout the same tired non sense?

The Bowe that beat Holyfield was afraid to get in the ring with Lewis.

                Give your head a shake.

Bowe was mentally weak, and straight up ducked Lennox Lewis.

                You are one sad sack.

Instead of spewing a bunch of garbage, you should just say you don't like him and leave it at that. It's when you try to explain why you think he should be ranked so low that you start to show how biased, ignorant and petty you are.

Hamed was entertaining and had some great reflexes but I don't think he was the best of boxers...I have been a big Nigel Benn fan for awhile but he also was a bit rough in the skill department...I think out of the list Eubank is either #1 or #2...he had power, could box, and the posing was hilarious

i voted Lennox, beat every guy he fought and ended up king of the ring (peeps just didnt accept him for so long but he got with Man Steward & fought back, & after Holy robbery ppl began to accept him, after beating much hyped Grant and much hyped Tua he won over america even more and after destroyin Tyson he finally got fully accepted)
