It seems like team Pacquiao is interested in fighting big name fighters, they should start calling out Chavez Sr., Pernell Witaker, Wilfredo Gomez, Roberto Duran, Suggar Ray leonard. I bet he can beat Tyson, Lewis, or Klitchko at a catch weigh of 135lb..hahaha that would be alot easier than taking your chances against Ortiz, Mayweather, Erislady Lara, or other young and skilled fighters that don't come straight to you so you can hit them.. Idk but right now even though Canelo is inexperienced it would still be an interesting fight..

The guy that was more aggressive and threw more punches and landed more punches and outlanded his opponent in 8 of the 12 rounds won the fight..... WHAT A FUC$ING ROBBERY!!!!! Manny fought like the Mexican, he took risk, he threw more, he landed more, case closed!!!! It seems like some want to give Marquez extra credit for doing better than expected... Manny wanted to win and Marquez wanted to avoid the KO and the both got what they wanted. If Marquez wanted to win he should have landed more punches than his opponent instead of landing the prettier punches which he did... Counter punches are prettier than punches landed against a guy going backwards or has his guards up DUH.... But a landed punch is a landed punch and the guy that throws and lands the most punches win most of the time in boxing, without taking into account 10-8 rounds, or 10-7 rounds for knockdowns.

IMO boxing did suffer greatly. Marquez was a cherrypick gone awry. He came in there as a sacrificial lamb, but unzipped that costume & ended up being a tazmanian devil & outboxed the bigger, stronger, faster pfp#1 fighter & got robbed for his troubles.

Now even though some of the hype has died down the Floyd-Pacman fight is still in demand & it will be just an expensive onesided schooling issued by Floyd. Instead of the boxing community realizing that Pacman was overrated & Floyd fighting the real threat in Martinez.

Here's the damn deal. Marquez proclaimed he wasn't going to leave fight in judges hands. Pac said he wanted to give fans a good fight and thats all... Pac's team talks alotta **** but Pac knows what he can and can't do. Team Pac hyped it up too big but Manny knew all along it was gonna be a war! It was close but Lederman card, judges card and compubox all got it right period! Ricky Ricardo Lopez hell of course he's gonna say that **** but truth is boxing would have been hurt if Marquez got the win.
