His idea for becoming a big star is talking trash about two guys in Cotto and Pacquiao who have probably the two biggest fan bases in boxing? Let's not forget he fights most of the time on Cotto country and his chances of getting a fight against them are very low so all this trash talking is only lowering his chances of becoming a star and making big money.

That has to be the worst ideas of all times and is bound to fail.

I'm a fan of Sergio but he needs to come down in weight, especialy if he's claiming he can make 150lb's, Darren Barker was a horrible oppenent & now he's going to fight Matthew Macklin?

He should just focus on what he can control.

If he keeps winning against impressive opposition it will create more of a demand. If his 2012 features wins over Macklin and Pirog or Golovkin, there will be a lot of pressure on one of the 3 big names to fight him. And he will bolster his name will grow as well.

I empathize with his frustration but I don't believe going about it how he is will get the fights done. Pacquiao won't fight him. No way. He's got a chance with Cotto and Floyd. He's kind of stroking Floyd's ego in the press which might be a good way to get a fight with him though.

PAC is smart enough to admit that he'a too small to fight Martinez at 154.
I mean seriously, I still say he shouldn't even be at 147 at all since he keeps weighing less than that on his recent fights.
