Who has/had the more stellar resume? Ward or Calzaghe?

I took it as Ward right now compared to Joe for his whole career.

If it is just Ward's 25 against Joe's 25, I think I would have Ward ahead.

But Ward has a lot to do to eclipse what Calzaghe has accomplished.

I'm just saying it wasn't a bad win, it was a solid win. What did someone like Charles Brewer do to be ranked in the Top 10 by 1997 at 168??? At that point, all Brewer had done was beat Gary Ballard for a vacant title and Joey DeGrandis. Brewer didn't really prove much against good fighters until he fought those close fights with Sven Ottke.

Abraham wasn't an ATG win or anything, but it was a solid win, on par with some of Joe's solid defenses during his run.

I think he'll pass him in the next 2-3 years. Calzaghe went from crazy overrated while he was fighting, to vastly underrated now, it'z crazy.

Yeah, saying a fighter beat guys in a top 10 isn't saying much since a lot of these ratings are arbitrary, especially when it gets below the top 5, which is usually pretty firm.

I think if you beat a guy in the Top 10, it's a solid win. If you beat a guy in the Top 5, it's usually a very good win, depending on the division of course.

He'll probably surpass Joe eventually, if he fights the right fights of course. I don't ee anyone beating Ward from 168-175, and there's a lot of good fights there to be made in the next 5-6 years.

Joe does get a bad rep for some reason on here though, he's went from crazy overrated while he was fighting to vastly underrated now, it's crazy.
If he beats Bute I will put his resume over Calzaghe's

I don't think he is going to beat the Dirrel brother's, The Kid Chocolate, Groves/Degale, Bute, and take on the best at light heavyweight and become champ there in the next 2 to 3 years

If he beats Lucian Bute and Andre Dirrell/Anthony Dirrell (if Anthony gets some decent wins first), and than beat Chad Dawson (if Dawson beats Hopkins), I'd probably put his resume ahead of Calzaghe's.

Really??? All Groves and DeGale have done is fight a close fight with each other, thugh I like both of them. I hope Groves beats Stieglitz and than whups Abraham. And Peter Quillin is at 160 currently. Ward-Bute will happen at some point, people need to relax.

I can see Andre beating one of the Dirrell bro's and Bute, than another good SMW and going to 175 to fight the man there. I don't see why Andre Ward wouldn't fight Chad Dawson once he goes to 175, if Dawson beats Hopkins.
