Former middleweight champion Arthur Abraham, 31-years-old, just signed a new promotional contract with Sauerland Event. He says the contract expires in 2014. The end of the contract will likely signal the end of his career. Abraham will return on January 14th against Pablo Farias in Offenburg.

he'll really mix up the the middelweight division. maybe clean out the eurobum with a title the fight pirog that would be entertaining then if wins martinez would be a great fight he loses punchers chance at most. chavez wouldnt go near him though hes a bum and a duck.

"I feel very comfortable in Berlin..."
I would too, look at how it helps out Felix Sturm!

He should be able to make a splash at 160 again, if he can cut down to 160 and actually make weight. After fighting at 168 for a couple years, and the struggles he was having to make 160 before that, him fighting at 160 sounds a lot easier said than done.

There's several great match-ups waiting. Sturm, Golovkin, Pirog, Martinez. I'd particularly love to see AA vs. Golovkin.

I still am a fan of King Arthur. I'm a little surprised at how ineffective he was at SMW, but I wish the best for him back at 160.

I really don't expect Abraham to do much at middleweight. The blueprint for beating him has been conclusively drawn, all the other fighters know it and worst of all he knows it. He's also lazy. Martinez knocks him out, several contenders at middleweight beat him clearly.

abraham sucks and is extremley one dimensional, the blue print has been laid to beat him.

If Sturm can be "Champion" at middleweight it will be no problem for Abraham.
Abraham is still better than Sturm.
