Is it crazy to think Andre Ward is the world's 2nd best fighter?

Bute is a good fighter. Obviously, he is too good to be a replacement in the super 6. That said, Ward has defeated every other good fighter at 168 except Bute. He has earned his title and his respect.

Bute has actually been lucky IMO. He gets a fat SHowtime deal, and a fight with the SS winner, while only having to beat a collection of mediocore challengers.

I wouldn't put him ahead of manny right now in to my #2 spot, but I think he makes a case for being 3-5, after manny ahead of sergio and donaire.

No problem with 1 or 2, but 3? Really?

Marquez >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Donaire. Not even close.

He's definitely better than Martinez, and I wouldn't argue too hard with someone saying he's better than Donaire, though I disagree. I just don't think people should be giving him Floyd/Manny/Marquez type credit at the moment.

He beats Bute, than hell give him the top spot. He'll have earned it.

I tend to agree with you but out of floyd/manny/marquez/ward- ward has fought the better competition the last 2 years, no question.

I'd give Marquez that nod. Diaz x2, Floyd, Katsidis, and Pacquiao is pretty damn good. After that it's Ward, definitely.

So you believe Pacman beat Marquez then. You did not see him struggle with a lightweight like I did. Still unable to cut of the ring & bothered by any attempt at movement like I have? Beating stationary in house fighters.

While Ward has dominated 3 of the top 4 fighters in his division while Manny hasn't beaten one at 147?

Yes, you hate Pacquiao and don't think he's ever beaten a good fighter ever, I KNOW.

I'd come back with that too, after saying he went up in weight to fight Hatton, when in fact he went down.

diaz and katsidis were good fights but I don't think they were as good as kessler and froch. But yeah Marquez deserves extra credit for fighting floyd and manny at 147 even though he lost. I'd agree with you.
