Does Andre Ward Have a Deal With Showtime?

I know Bute signed an exclusive deal with Showtime; but what about Ward? Will his opponent choice be determined by what network is going to broadcast his fight? I would think he would be better served staying at Showtime, since he said he is after the best...But i also read an article that he is looking for the right opponent for the right price.

If he did go to HBO who could we expect to see him in the ring with?

He started his career with HBO. But they dropped him. Ward's getting the last laugh now, I suppose.

Showtime's stuck behind him from the beginning so I can't see him moving on soon.

I can guarantee you Ward is headed to HBO now. He is probably the 2nd best American fighter in the world and top 4-5 pound for pound. Don't kid yourself into thinking HBO lets him deal exclusively with Showtime.

I'm sure Showtime had an option on the winner of the Super Six for one or two fights, it's crazy to think they don't.

But once that's over with I'm sure he's going to HBO. It's nothing below 7 figures from here on out for Ward, and he's earned it.
