According to the Daily Telegraph, WBA interim-junior middleweight Anthony Mundine (43-4, 25KOs) has turned to his old enemy Jeff Fenech to take his career to the next level in America. Fenech has returned to Australia, after attending the WBC's 49th annual convention which took place in Las Vegas. During the convention he was negotiating on behalf of Mundine with promoters in the United States. Fenech spoke with Top Rank, hoping to get Mundine a shot at their WBA super champion at 154, Miguel Cotto.
