If Ward would have lost...oh man. "An American hype job exposed". Would have gotten no props or respect or nothing.

There's nothing wrong with it if Ward is still at 168 and Froch impresses against a highly rated opponent first.

Guys used to fight each other five or more times before they were through, BITD. And although I thought last night was a decent fight, I think these two can improve on it. Ward-Froch was a showcase for Ward's superior technique and athleticism partly because Froch spent too much time trying to think and box at range, being outjabbed and countered in spite of his caution, which is where he really lost the fight; next time, if he knows what's good for him, Froch will throw a little more caution to the wind and try to build pressure from early in the bout, making for a different fight (even if Ward wins again, it would be a different fight).

He gets props from me for the way he handled his defeat with class and the level of competition he has been in with since Taylor. Hopefully he gets the fight with Bute so we can see if Bute is ready for Ward.
