Comments Thread For: Hopkins and Andre Ward Agree - We Are NEVER Fighting!

BoxingScene.com was backstage at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, when WBC light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (52-5-2, 32KOs) approached Andre Ward (25-0, 13KOs), the WBC/WBA king at super middleweight, to congratulate him for his Saturday's dominating performance against Carl Froch. Boxing fans should be thrilled. Sometimes, styles make fights. Sometimes they make flatulence. This would be a fart in church.

If guys fought 5-8 times a year at least, it would be different. It could be tucked into other crowd pleasing stuff. At twice, 3 max, in this soft ass era (in terms of activity), it would be awful.

That would be one of the most boring fights in boxing history so let's thank them both.
