Unbeaten WBC FECARBOX heavyweight champion Timor Ibragimov scored a seventh round TKO over Paul Marinaccio Friday night at the Kissimmee Civic Center Friday night in Kissimmee, Florida. It wasn't one of Ibragimov's better performances, but he was declared the winner when Marinaccio (20-2-2, 7 KOs) didn't come out for round seven. Ibragimov improves to 20-0-1 with 12 KO’s
I witnessed this fight in person and I will tell you this, Timor has great skill but for some reason he would not just finish Marinaccio off. Marinaccio was in the corner telling Timor to bring it and Timor was just waiting for him to do somthing. It was kind boring, but Timor was landing heavy shots to the face, head, and body. I was able to meet Paul Marinaccio after the fight and his face was a mess, he shook my hand after I told him good show (I lied) and he told me he was sorry but he had to go to the hospital because he could'nt see. I will say this though, Marinaccio's right eye was completly closed and the whole right side of his face was swollen badly. I'll be looking foward to seeing were Timor's career goes from here.
