Ward controlled him with his feints. Thats why Froch was stiff all night.

It wasnt just the feints. Froch was trying to fight tall and got outjabbed. Getting outjabbed let ward get inside. Once ward got inside the fact that froch was fighting tall allowed ward to get leverage and muscle him.
