Lara will not look good..Hearns is tall, awkward, and wild.

Lara vs Hearns and Williams vs Ishida is a ****ty card. Even more ridiculous is that Lara and Williams are fighting different opponents in the same night instead of each other. Seriously, who was the genius who thought having a Williams and Lara double header after what happened was a good idea?

Williams is in a tough spot the fights ppl want to see him in are high contact action affairs might not be so good for his future health, flip side if he fights boxerpunchers well you know how that turns out.

thats an intriguing fight. Ishida is still riding high of koing kirkland while williams is looking to rebuild. Sht would be funny to see ishida ko williams mandigo style.

williams/ishida is a good fight to me, pretty much agree with what elplayapimp said. and haha, yeah it's pretty odd to see lara and williams on a card fighting other opponents right after their fight. i wish trout, k9, or martirosyan would give lara a fight. alvarez won't happen, and kirkland and molina are fighting each other. lara should rack up some more wins against decent names if no one wants to give him a big fight.
and isn't hearns a middleweight? is lara moving up or hearns coming down?

i guess he's got to take a risk/challenge if he wants to stick to being within the top 5 of the division, but he can try and fight the lesser skilled/bigger punchers. guys like d-rodriguez, k9, or mudine. he's got a decent chance against guys of that caliber imo. it's fighters like trout, kirkland, or even cotto that he should avoid. i think the best matchup (moneywise) that he would probably want to do is alvarez. and depending how the ishida fight goes, i think alvarez would be down to make that happen as well. him and his trainer have also said he's got a couple fights left before hanging them up so we'll see what happens, but i think after ishida an alvarez fight can happen if not another decent quality fight gets made. alvarez is the best money making fight for williams at 154 after cotto.

that would be an awesome fight, not sure angulo would take it though. if cintron outboxed him, lara would embarrass him imo. also, angulo will probably look into getting a couple tuneups before getting back in with the top of the division. we'll see what happens.
