Floyd also said 14 day cut off was fine, then he changed his mind.
Floyd also said $$ wasn't an issue, then he changed his mind.
Floyd also said Pacquiao was next, then he changed his mind.
but that's business/negotiations right?Comment

Floyd actually never did say 50/50. He's always suggested that he thought he should get a bigger share of the revenue. Everyone thought money would be an issue going into the negotiations in 2009, but he agreed to 50/50 pretty quickly. If both camps actually sat down and had a legit negotiation, Floyd would still probably agree to a 50/50 in the end.
At the end of the day, Mayweather is his own boss and Pacquiao is just a fighter. If you really think about it, it isn't really a smart business move for Mayweather to publicly say that he'll accept a 50/50 split when they haven't actually legitimately negotiated since 2009. After all, he CAN make an argument for why he should get a bigger share, even though I personally think this is a 50/50 fight.Comment

Let us say Floyd agreed to 50/50.
50% goes to Mayweather pocket
Pacquaios 50% we all know a large part of it will go to his promoter and 10% of that 50% will also goes to his trainer Roach and Ariza. Now after the deduction Pac might only get less than half of it but Floyd is greedy who wants to take those percentage as well.Last edited by straightleft; 03-01-2012, 07:46 PM.Comment
