Why does Arum need to sit down with pac? Pac already said he wants the fight right? If Arum really wants the fight to happen he should be sitting down with Al Haymon or Floyd himself.

I'll believe it when I see it. I'm sure we've learned by now not to believe a word Arum says. If the fight doesn't happen this time around, I'm letting the dream go. In my opinion, Floyd should then either fight Cotto and/or Martinez, and then retire. Pacquiao should rematch Marquez(yet again), Bradley or Ortiz, and finish off his career with the Cotto rematch . Really, who else is left for these guys that can draw serious $$$???

Not sure why people think it's soo easy for Floyd to fight the other top rank fighter (Cotto) if the Pacquiao fight is not made. The Cotto fight wont happen either.

Arum doesn't want Haymond or Goldenboy involved because Arum wants to reduce the number of people he'll have to share money with as much as possible. He wants to have Floyd under Top Rank for at least this one fight so he can collect off Floyd. Everything Arum says and does is done in the interest of his own bank account.

They are going to sit down and discuss an excuse to get out of fighting FMJ, that is all. They have painted themselves into a corner so to speak, and they have juggled so many excuses as to why the fight was not made and put it all on Floyd. Now that Floyd has the date reserved, wants to fight Pac in May, they are panicking, because anyone who really knows boxing, knows Manny is losing that fight. So they are trying to figure out his last hurrah to exit the sport with the Floyd match, or who else to fight instead. They really want to just make JMM/Pac 4 or maybe match him against Morales...or maybe even Bradley, but they know all those choices will solidify who the real chicken **** is, Bob Arum. Manny has a punchers chance against Floyd and that is how it has always been. I will be utterly SHOCKED if Arum allows Pac/Floyd to happen 5/5. If not, Floyd will fight someone worthy and Pac can go fight Morales or JMM again I guess. Pac's team is in a bad spot though because they have run out of slow, worn, old, plodding opponents that make Pac look superhuman. I think inside they know the ride is over and they are losing their next fight, they just want to know the best way to ride off into the sunset....

I can see Floyd not wanting to deal with goldenboy, but Floyd will not ditch his manager Al Haymon. No way.

Well everyone knows that Pac finally "wants" the fight. Why Bob needs to sit with him is all BS, but hey at least after two years Bob is ready to make the fight or is he just lying again?
