The days where men had the roles of "warriors" and "gladiators" are long gone.Honestly I don't think he won. Dude got a phantom KD by using his elbow to push Peterson down, pushed off/down Lamont and ran most of the fight and still got 114-110 scorecard? Don't forget that he hit Peterson during the break. Peterson didn't complain once. Instead of Khan crying like this about the fight. He should just secure a rematch and show that he was robbed by beating Peterson more skillful and convincing. If Peterson decides to fight Bradley and loses the titles he won from Khan, then he should just fight Bradley who am sure would fight Khan now. Amir ain't beating Bradley without any inside game. Promoters are killing the sport because they won't let their fighters fight the fights that will make them great and think not losing makes them great. boxing has taken a big hit since the early days. Promoters want to get paid and could care less about what happens in the ring these days because if they did then we would have seen Chavez Jr/Martinez, Kirkland/Canelo, Pacquiao/Mayweather. All of these fights ain't happening not because of fear of the fighters/boxers but because of promoters protecting their interest and trying to build images instead of warriors.
Boxers are seen as investments. We all know that money talks, especially when having an economical meltdown, but can you blame the promoters alone? I share the same view as you but from the promoters point of view I also understand them. There is more money in boxing than ever. One big fight in Vegas can secure you and your fighter's feature. There is a lot of money involved to be missed. Greed always wins.Comment

Shut the **** up lmfaoNice to see a fighter standing up for their rights. Khan was robbed, plain and simple. If fighters are allowed help from referees then no one should complain when guys like the Klitchkos and Foyd Mayweather take steroids for their fights. Peterson was on PER's. You ain't never lied about that but at the end of the day if the fighters were actually fighting the fighters they are supposed to, then am sure they would be building their stock up and still making the same if not more money. Promoters are robbing the fans and consumers right in plain sight. None of these current young champions will ever be considered as greats acting the way they do. The sad part is that Arum and De La Hoya should know better because they been around for a long time. Oscar fought the best and that is why he is where he is today and he lost the majority of his big fights. All industries got their games twisted and strayed away from the substance what made the business(es) great. The days where men had the roles of "warriors" and "gladiators" are long gone.

^^^^This!!!!^^^^
By far the best post I've seen from any Khan fan. Khan made some horrible mistakes in that fight and needs to address them. Freddie Roach failed Khan horribly in that fight. No adjustments were made at all! They had one game plan and thats it.Comment

When did I say I think Peterson paid off the judges?....I just said that if it had been the other way round alot of people would be crying that Khan and GBP paid off the ref and judges...don't deny that..it's true and you know it
I'm just saying that it seemed to me that the ref knew what Khan's weakness's were and knew what Peterson's strengths were..just my opinion seeing as though i don't think he broke them apart at all during the fight.
Anyway allow all this, let's get a rematch and see what happens...hopefully Khan learns more of an inside game by the time he hits his peak and then he possibly could go on to be one of the P4P best...(just giving the guy a chance...you haters should too)Comment
