To me Carson Jones is similar to a guy like Josesito Lopez in his division. A tough veteran that has faced good competition, came up short a few times, and is now erroneously fed undefeated and for the most part, green prospects.

But he's a good young fighter with plenty of seasoning.

Carson is the sleeper of the welters:

I saw talent in this guy a while back and as much as I use to like Ricardo, I knew that he would get beat in this fight. I have never thought he was a welterweight anyway because of all the fat he carried. In fact he has been his worst enemy and until he decide to fully dedicate himself he will be nothing more than a sparring partner for the champs and contenders.
