I don't think the guy cares about belts, or his win loss record.
He is a greedy money grubber as are all the people who support his career. Not one legit boxing person manages his career and it shows in the way they conduct business.
They have lowballed every single opponent he has faced, and for every fighter that has accepted one of his insulting lowball offers there were 5 more who had the dignity to refuse to settle for them.
In the end he is crying like a baby only because he won't have the leverage to continue raping his opponents in contract negotiations.
His gap toothed daddy is probably the driving force behind the cheapskate ways of Team Khan but Amir is responsible for not exerting any control and supporting his teams negotiating tactics with his own ridiculously overblown perception of himself.
I guess it is part of their culture to be cheap and take advantage of others in negotiations but it doesn't excuse it in my eyes.
Now we can only hope that Lamont Peterson offers him some paltry number to fight again so we can see how Khan feels when someone offers him 250K and says Khan isn't the champ and better bend over and take it.
And for the record, I said a couple years ago that David Haye, Amir Khan and Arthur Abraham were all overrated pole smokers. Took a lot of flack for that for being an anti-euro hater. In the end I was right about all 3.
