Comments Thread For: Erik Morales-Danny Garcia Winner Must Face Olusegun

Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - At their ongoing 49th annual convention, the World Boxing Council issued an order which requires the winner of Erik Morales (52-7, 36KOs) and Danny Garcia (22-0, 14KOs) to make an immediate defense against mandatory challenger Ajose Olusegun (30-0, 14KOs). Morales defense the WBC junior welterweight title against Garcia on January 28th at the Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas. HBO will televise. Bullshi*. Fight Khan. Morales shouldn't even have the belt.

Technically the winner should fight Peterson, seeing as how if Khan did still have the WBC belt he would have lost it to Peterson.

Khan would've fought Morales instead of Peterson, but Morales ran. Now that Khan got 'exposed', he can now work on his game. Beating on a past prime Morales wouldn't have done much for him.

OLusegun looked like a energizer in his last bout intriguing guy he had stamina for days alot of awkward herky angles him vs Garcia would be worthwhile
WBC seems focused on sticking to there guns for 2012 and enforcing mandatories
