while thats a surefire loss for chavez I gotta say martinez has really bad habits that would definitley get exploited by roach/chavez,like the fact he fights with his hands down,which is really starting to show as a liability because with each succsessive fight sergio keeps getting tagged more and more precisley because of fighting with his hands on his side.That roy jones style of fighting only works for a young fighter with all the reflexes on his side,that style for an aging figher like sergio will prove to be disastrous sooner or later.the biggest thing martinez has is punching power lots of it.Comment

If Jr does end up fighting Martinez, Jose stripping Martinez from his belt would be the best thing that ever happened to Martinez' career because it set up Martinez as Jr's mandatory. He would finally get his big fight. It's just too bad his big fight couldn't be against a top guy like Cotto.Comment

Although I want Martinez to destroy Chavez Jr., Chavez Jr. is coming along. He definitely has a chance. He is big, strong and can take a punch.Comment
