I'll just say. Taylor had like 24 fights when he fought Chavez, a record like Cottos., and he was knocked out by someone esle before their rematch.

I'll just say. That's because the 1st fight with chavez ****ed him up for good. Several facial fractures, pissed blood for ages and so on. Meldrick Taylor never recovered from that beating. I don't think you will find many WHO WATCHED TAYLOR FIGHT BEFORE AND AFTER THE 1ST CHAVEZ FIGHT who are willing to disagree.

Even though one judge had it SD..

I had it 9-3 for Taylor...but round 2 and 7 were VERY close..

The commentary was VERY biased in that fight..
Chavez was a deadly fighter, not one that knocks you out, but he is like one of those fighters that if he beats u up u will never be the same...


Ramirez may have knocked out Rosario in 4..
but Chavez just brutally ****ed him up..

Also with Taylor, if it wasn't for ****** Lou Douva(who told him to fight), then Taylor would have won...
