Froch is gonna have to knock this guy out, he's not winning on the cards.

And regarding the video, his punches look fast, clean and sharp. Should be a pretty good fight.

Ward does not have a high finish rate and Froch is as good if not better than anyone he's faught and Froch has a good chin. Nobody's getting stopped in this fight.

Froch doesn't have enough defensive nous to win this fight. He has no idea how to move his feet when up against the ropes. In the video, every time Mccracken pushes Froch back against the wall, he just seems to stick there, and against Ward, you can't allow that to happen.

          Ward UD.

i'v always noticed that Froch's technique looks better working the mitts. His punches are shorter and more compact but in the fight he starts reverting to the old bow and arrow technique telegraphing his shots. He also pulls his right hand back away from his face when he jabs too.

The Taylor and Dirrell fights are prime examples although most recently vs AA and Johnson it has been much improved. Still i hope he looks that sharp in the ring this weekend with hooks and uppercuts especially.

i don't think this video is fully indicative of froch's defensive prowess. . . he is not as defensively inept as some would believe. . . he has become more of a "read and react" fighter in his recent outings. . . even if he gets hit, he stands strong and fires right back. . . i still think he should first see if he can dictate range and get ward to walk into his jab and straight right. . .

more than likely ward will get under his shots and get to his chin first, so if fighting off the back foot fails, then just make it ugly: hold and hit if he has too, maul, grab, push, whatever. . .

I think Froch is looking to box during this fight and rightfully so.

If this turns into a phone booth type fight, Froch is definitely getting stopped.

all i can say is ward better watch his hands! when way he is guarding his body is dangerous for guys who go there with those elbows!

froch looks good! i think if he's adjusted enough ward will go back to his headbutting ways! turn it into a street fight. which froch might like. this will be a VERY VERY good match up!
