Do you respect Bernard Hopkins?

Yes. I don't particularly like the man and he says some pretty ****** and ignorant things, but I have huge respect for people who turn their lives around after prison and Hopkins is a shining example of that. Add to that his reign as middleweight champ and the fact that he's still at the top level ten years after you'd have expected him to fade and you have an incredible life and career, deserving of respect.Comment

You are right to an extent.incorrect.
He beat Trnidad, Pavlik, Tarver, Glen Johnson, Pascal & Oscar without any "dirty" tactics. He schooled them, straight up, by boxing and his IQ.
He's had some dirty fights, no doubt, but typically they weren't his biggest. Calzaghe, Winky & Echols he fought dirty. Those fights pale in comparison to the ones mentioned above.
Next!
Bottom line is that hopkins is a very dirty fighter, period!
he crushed Tito but did you know that he head butted him over 25 times? C'mon son, the man is a beast but a clean fighter he is not.

Come on man, I've watched the fight at least 20 times it's one of my favorites. Video's like that which you posted, that's no different than the "marquez foot stomping" pacquiao and the "floyd is a cheating dirty fighter" and the most recent "khan pushes 47 times!" biased ass videos. Those do nothing for me.
Of course when you make a video with nothing but these so called fouls or illegal tactics all piled on together in a row WITHOUT WATCHING THE FIGHT IN IT'S ENTIRETY it's purposely made to make the fighter look bad. Hopkins schooled trinidad, period. No ifs and buts about it and no excuses about "headbutts" or 9/11 or Tito didn't have the extra tape in his gloves none of that changes the fact he got annihilated by hopkins.Last edited by ИATAS; 12-14-2011, 07:03 PM.Comment

Actually he's right. A lot of soldiers are in a distant land fighting for us. If you ever had someone shot at you, you would know how it feels to be shot at. Most of them in Iraq/Afghanistan get shot regularly. So yea, it's a big ****ing deal to me that these people risk their lives for us. Be thankful for them volunteering and not forcing the government to use a draft/mandatory service.Comment

Good for you dawg personally I don't care, many of these people are too ignorant to realize the true intentions of these "wars" and I can personally care less about the troops. Of course, for those that are just too dumb and honestly join for good intentions, I wish them luck & hope all of them come home safely to their families. But I'm not going to give props to someone for being apart of illegal occupations of 3rd world countries in order to steal their natural resources and various other strategic military purposes or overthrowing ********ically elected presidents, etc.Actually he's right.
