That was an impressive set of statements. Good for Amir. Khan is being realistic about getting this fight made and I agree with him that Vegas is probably as neutral as one is liable to find. Maybe Atlantic City or NYC as well.

Khan's stock just went up a couple of points as far as I'm concerned.

Word has it that Manny will no longer spar with Amir.

      Neither are on Mayweathers level.
i've sparred with world champions of boxing and thai boxing, plus cuban national champions- so going by your logic i'm very happy to be able to say that i'm on their level. hey i must be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what kind of dumb arsed idea. let me guess- you wear a david beckham football shirt and pretend you're actually him?

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. what the ******** capital of the world? the one where all the commentators feel obliged to mention that "but anything can happen in vegas" both before the fight and before scores are read out?!!

Sparring isn't like an actual fight--it's just work. I've seen them spar on youtube and it looks like Pac's just going through the motion and Khan giving it his all. To Khan's credit he has a real good three punch combination(in no random order) which confuses his opponents a bit--he's a very unorthodox fight bro.

            Smarten up ****head.

Have you seen them spar ?

Because I have, and there is nothing in those sessions.

According to recent reports, Amir has got Manny's number when it comes to sparring, and Pac has decided that he no longer need Khan's help to prepare himself...... just like he was no longer interested in sparring Ortiz after their session.

What world champion did you spar with ?

BTW, that report came from Freddie Roach, who unlike you, was present.

the referee took away a win for kahn. ive watched many fights were there had been alot of holding and pushing, hitting below the belt, etc...throughout a fight. most times before a point is taken away, the ref will stop the fight, look at the fighter straight in the face and say "next time i will deduct a point"...that never happened in the kahn/peterson fight. that "next time i will deduct a point" is what the hbo analyst were talking about when they said kahn wasnt given a "hard warning"

if the two points werent taken away, it wouldve been 114-113 for kahn on both cards (instead of 112-113) and 116-110 on the other card...which wouldve been a unanimous for kahn. yah sure, kahn did back paddle alot but kahn did outbox peterson enough to have won.

                    neutral my arse.

Grow up. ******** and bad decisions happen everywhere.

Name me someplace that consistently generates more reasonable decisions than Vegas. Especially considering the sheer number of big fights that happen there.

Besides that, name someplace that combines boxing gravitas and big-fight, money generating atmosphere like Vegas other than AC or NYC.
