you're right....a close fight should NOT be viewed as a robbery.....but there's no other way to describe a fighter who lands half of his power shots not getting the nod in his opponents living room

Cotto definitely got a gift against Mosley and Clottey, but it was MSG so what can I say. I thought the Mosley fight was a draw, and only a draw, it shouldn't have been anything else. And I thought Clottey beat Cotto.

Anyways, how about three fights that fell through? Mosley vs Judah, Mosley vs Berto, and Mosley vs Clottey. All of these were at some point going to happen, especially the Judah and Berto fights. If Berto loses to Ortiz again, then the fight would make sense. If Ortiz loses to Berto, make Ortiz vs Mosley.

I think people are writing him off too quickly. Granted Shane has looked like piss since being schooled by Mayweather, going life and death with Mora, and being swamped by Pacquiao.

But there are some guys out there with certain styles that his "power boxing" style can be effective against, some of whom he may look like a world beater against. Victor Ortiz being one of them, IMO.

This. I really see this happening. I don't think Khan will be fighting guys like Ortiz, Berto, and Mike Jones. He'll most likely follow the path of least resistance, which is Matthew Hatton or Mosley.
