2011 is the first year Pacquiao is not

the most impressive Filipino boxer since his rise to stardom.

I mean Donaire proved his hype by destroying fellow top p4p fighter Montiel and even though his fight against Navarez was very lackluster, he was still Ring Magazine's number one 115 pounder for what it's worth. Wasn't Donaire's fault Navarez fought just to survive.

Better than a Mosley win at that point, even though both Mosley and Navarez fought like they would get castrated if they initiated any action.

And Viloria also had a better year than Pac. He won a second division title against Miranda and won a potential upset of the year against Segura, a top 10 pound for pounder.

The Segura win was better than anything Pac has done in the last two years.

Props to Donaire and Viloria, but 2011 was a bad year for Pac, not to mention his "win" over Marquez. Can't say it wasn't his fault though, serves him right for cherry-picking.

I said Filipino boxers, never said anything about boxers from the Philippines.

I know Viloria was born in Hawaii and Donaire is obviously more American, even though he was born in the Philippines.

        not sure i agree...

pac dominated shane mosley in a way he had never been dominated before

then he dismantled marquez for the 3rd time, evidence below:

all whilst generating over 50% of the sport's entire ppv sales for the year

pac is not only the most impressive filipino of the year- he is the most impressive fighter of the year, period.

2011 was probably one of the worst years Pac has had, at least compared to the rest of his career.

I'm not talking about ppv sales, I'm talking boxing. Legacy wise, this year did nothing for Pacman other than increase his bank account and waste another prime year.

Mosley had no heart in that fight and Forrest, Winky and Mayweather dominated Mosley much more impressively.

I won't even argue about Marquez with you, I already know where you stand.

You're using pictures as evidence that Pacquiao dominated Marquez? LOL, why don't you look at pictures of Pacquiao/Clottey after their fight and tell me who looked like they took the worse beating? Do you guys even use your brains when analyzing a fight?
Marquez's face is more swollen because Pacquiao landed his shots almost exclusively to Marquez's head while Marquez split his punches between Pacquiao's body and face. Marquez went to Pac's body as much as he went to Pac's face while Pac almost only went to Marquez's face. That is why JMM looked worse than Pac.

And how does not winning a single round convincingly lead to dismantling the other guy?
