let's be honest- if khan had come out on top of a close decision against peterson he would NEVER give him a second chance. i think the ball should be totally in peterson's court to rematch as and when and if he actually wants to.

Khan came to his hometown!!! And the way in which the fight was "given" to peterson just leaves a bad taste in most hardcore boxing fans mouth. . .

I know HBO ain't gonna tolerate him wanting to "make a mandatory defense" against some gimme - they ain't gonna televise that garbage. . . I'll be down for him fighting Bradley again, but I think he should give Khan that rematch.

Bradley is a worse draw in the US.

He can't even draw in his home town.


Khan has equal viewerships to Bradley and has had less promotion on HBO.

Khan could have chosen Las Vegas which also did better than anything Bradley has done.

In fact without Alexander Bradley would have even done worse.

Bradley is with TR a much better promotional company then GBP..Could'a should'a did'int..He fought in DC and lost,now Peterson is in the drivers seat..Like I said TR would pay Peterson a nice fee for the fight,if for nothing else to fucck GBP..Bradley Peterson can be on the undercard of Pac JMM 4 or Pac Mayweather..Bradley being with the better promotional team makes all the difference in this situation..Oh and Khan did not do well in Vegas..Khan vs Maidana had Ortiz on the undercard which is why it did decent,and the same goes for the Judah fight..Khan is with GBP(a mojor promotional company)and they have been using this trick for sometime now..Khan vs Paulie M in NY,most here(NYC where I'm from)know who Paulie is that's the sell..Bradley is now going to use a similar style of promotion which will make it seem like he is a better draw then he is..Once again Khan is not a draw in the states..

maidana had 12 rounds to knock him out - he didnt. How many rounds did maidana win?? Thought so. HOW many fights has presscott won after the khan fight? Thought so.

Fucck what HBO wants,they gonna kiss Peterson's azz for fear he leaves their network to go to Showtime..Khan is not the only fight and as we seen in the past(Tyson and Pac)they have lost big fights before and were not happy about it..Peterson is gonna do what's best for him(Khan would and you know it)as he should..As for a bad taste in hardcore fans mouths,that's not true..Most on this forum had Peterson winning the fight and saw Khan as a bit of a dirty fighter and was fine with the decision..

They don't want to be seen to be showing deference to any arrangements for them to hand back the titles to Khan ASAP; they want to appear to be in charge of what happens next.

HBO would have made Khan/Matthyssee, Khan/Morales, Khan/Maidana again. . . Peterson, however, WOULD NOT have been headlining an HBO card making that kind of money. . . Khan might not draw the fans of cotto, or popular mexican fighters, but he brings that HBO MONEY with him. . .

Khan could have just as easily fought in UK, and STILL HAD HBO televise him. . . Khan is without a doubt the "money man" in the division. . .

None of those fights gates would have done well 1st off..Maybe if Khan fought umm in the UK..Not to mention Peterson was Khans Mando,so it's fight him or lose his belt..Either way Peterson get's the shot to become a Champ and make some money down the line..Don't act as if Khan did him a favor he did'int..Peterson earned that fight...

Most of the forum on here say Khan is more popular in the Us than Bradley.

As for who won, with the deductions around half agreed Peterson won.

HBO is far superior to showTime. Thus why space went back there...



Oh and as for TR being better than GBP, that in itself is debatable now. Try provided him with Cassamayor.

GBP actually put on better shows with better under cards. I know you're not a true boxing fan but a Bradley Nuthugger though so you won't know that.
