When talking about regions, you've never head of the DMV? DC, Md, Va...
Over here in NJ, you'll commonly hear "tri-state" referring to NY, NJ, and CT.

    But, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washing...ropolitan_Area...

That is NOT what you stated!!!!

You said the ******ia, Maryland and The District of Columbia are the D.C. Metro Area. And that is a FALSE statement.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washing...ropolitan_Area

The Washington Metropolitan Area is the metropolitan area centered on Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. The area includes all of the federal district and parts of the U.S. states of Maryland, ******ia, and West ******ia.

The Office of Management and Budget defines the area as the Washington–Arlington–Alexandria, DC–VA–MD–WV Metropolitan Statistical Area, a metropolitan statistical area used for statistical purposes by the United States Census Bureau and other agencies. The area includes as its principal cities Washington as well as the ******ia cities of Arlington and Alexandria. The Office of Management and Budget also includes the metropolitan statistical area as part of the larger Baltimore–Washington Metropolitan Area, which has a population of over 8.55 million.[citation needed]

The area is also sometimes referred to as the National Capital Region, particularly by federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security.[2] The area in the region that is surrounded by Interstate 495 is also referred to as the "Capital Beltway". The ******ia portion of the area is known as Northern ******ia.[citation needed]

The Washington Metropolitan Area is the most educated and by some measures, the most affluent metropolitan area in the United States.[3] As of the 2010 Census Bureau estimate[update], the population of the Washington Metropolitan Area was estimated to be 5,582,170 (+16.39%), making it the seventh-largest metropolitan area in the country.[4]

If a referee lived in Philadelphia, PA. and refereed a fight in New York -- How could it possibly be said that he's a hometown Ref in New York?????

That is the crux of what I'm stating .... The Referee lives in another state in both cases.

Its funny tho how he wants to fight a fighter who he already beat, and who beat the guy who he refuses to fight.
Bradley is with TR,bigger money then GBP..Arum believes in Bradley he will put money up for the Peterson fight..If for nothing else,to fucck GBP...

yea no ****, Arum will want to match up Rios with this guy. Atleast it isnt Bradley right away, who outclassed and embarrassed Lamont by an even wider margin than Amir Khan

gotta keep the gravy train runnin Lamont

That doesn't leave a lot of options open for Khan, unless Bradley gives him a shot. Of course Amir has a few holes to fix in him game before he should fight Peterson again anyway.

Lamont gets a sizeable 7 figure payday on his next outing.

Great job man, that is fantastic.

Your life just took a MAJOR turnaround, you will never look back.

Khan should pay dearly for the opportunity to win his titles back for underestimating Peterson and not including a rematch clause in the contract.

Khan should face Bredis Prescott and avenge that loss, then give Maidana his rematch and finally avenge the Peterson loss. if he does that and stops acting like an arrogant prick, he'd be a huge star.

he can win the Prescott fight easy if he just boxes and moves. with Maidana all he has to do is learn how to clinch and avoid the ropes. the same goes for Peterson too.

I don't know why Khan starts to crumble when guys crowd him but he needs to work on that.

if Roach is the trainer he's supposed to be, then he should be able to train Khan.

although I bet GBP will just protect him and hide his fault with paid off refs, like Joe Cortez, and avoiding inside fighters and brawlers.

Now if Cooper was from D.C. I would lean towards homecooking but the Referee is from ******ia.

Out of spite and because Khan is being such a total ****, when clearly he was in the wrong several times during the fight .... If I was Peterson's Team, I'd go for Bradley or wait for the Alexander vs Maidana winner. This would force Khan to face Rios or some other worthy opponent, because another soft target at this point, would seriously expose and doom Khan's imaginary status.
If I were Peterson's team I'd arrange a few easier fights than Bradley or even Khan. Take the chance to make some money, fight in Washington DC and it won't matter who he fights the place will be packed.

Then, when Bradley and Khan are ready to make a REAL deal, go for the EASIER one, even if it means a little less money. The tougher one will always be there. This way he and his team will make some real money and have enough to live on after retirement.

I don't know man,I still feel Prescott is a dangerous fight for Khan..Prescott is something like Peterson with more power..I think that might be a real risky fight tbh..
