The thing about Ward is that he can box as well as brawl

ward wont knock froch out but he's definitely got the timing and accuracy to discourage froch from letting his hands go. he did so with abraham, bika and kessler and all three of those guys are considered to have granite chins, if anything more so than froch

what makes this fight interesting is froch's recent ability to adapt and not particularly his chin or his power. we all know ward can adapt but to me he hasnt faced someone who is able to do so against him as well
