As I recall, it was Kessler who priced himself out of that paticular matchup. That's fine, though. I say let it brew into a real event instead of a unification in what would amount to Lacy fighting a guy almost no one's heard of in the US. Kessler needs to get his ass over here. Almost anyone would do, but he needs to make it happen.

thats only because lacy has set himself on next fighting tarver or taylor, which means that after he beats calzaghe he's going for the belts in lightheavy and middle

I think that'd be a mistake on Lacy's part. I'd be surprised if Tarver fights at Light heavy again (beyond a Johnson rubber match) and Lacy is solid at 168. At 160 he'd be drained. Plus, there's plenty of housecleaning for him to do right at his own weight. I say take care of his division and make Taylor come to him a year or two down the line.

Yes i also hope Kessler will take some fight in US to shows himself.

As for out pricing himself against Lacy - Maybe he did. Thats what Lacy/Shaw tells us. According to Team Palle (Kesslers promotors) that version simply leaves out half of the offer.
Both versions basicly agree on the money mentioned (think it was about 1.3 mill$ ???)
Now Lacy/Shaw just say Kessler asked that price to fight in the US - and that demand was rejected - end of story.
According to Team Palle however it was a two way offer. EITHER Kessler would fight in the US for the mentioned price, OR Lacy could be payed the same to fight in Denmark.
If its true it sounds like a fair offer to me

Eh, who knows. Sounds like you know more about this than I do.

Lacy said himself that he was not ready for a Kessler fight....credit to him for saying that and not trying to get too ahead and big-headed of himself!...having said that, Lacy has put on two good fights now, and I now believe that there is no way possible that Lacy would want to fight Kessler.........it would be too much of a risk for him and not that much money........hence the reason for him mentioning Tarver, Hopkins, etc.......after all that's all boxing is about, money.......
