I read that Jack Johnson book, Unforgiveable Blackness. Basically, there's alot of parallels between how Johnson was treated in his day for being black and proud, flaunting his wealth and successes, and it isn't much different from what Floyd does today.
I am thinking that would mean Manny Pacquaio = Jack Dempsey. Solid fighter with not much substance, scared to fight the top black fighters and suspected of corruption/cheating. Not forgetting Dempsey's association with Tex Rickard, an early boxing promoter who was more interested in selling out arena's/making a buck than actually putting on the best fights.
