naw...Mayweather would figure Khan out EASY

I always said Khan would look good against Mayweather...EARLY but by the 4th or 5th Round I think Mayweather would solve that puzzle and RIP HIM APART

Khan can have the speed advantage all he wants...THAT ALONE WON'T BEAT MAYWEATHER! Mayweather knows how to cut the ring off, Mayweather can apply pressure when he has to, the difference is that Mayweather is not as WILD as these younger fighters, he wouldn't just RUN AFTER KHAN he will patiently WALK IN DOWN and catch him with ACCURATE PUNCHES (WHICH ACTUALLY HURTS A LOT MORE AND DOES MORE DAMAGE)

Bottom Line...Khan has a tone of holes in his game and he makes A LOT OF MISTAKES...MISTAKES someone like Mayweather would have a EASY TIME EXPOSING and your not going to beat Mayweather just going backwards

boxing fans today put too much into Speed and Power...rarely do you see boxing fan today talk about fighting smart and being patients, when your a young fighter...PHYSICALLY SKILLS ARE IMPORTANT, when you get older for example guys like Mayweather, Benard Hopkins even the Kitschko's, they are VERY SMART FIGHTERS, they are beyond the years of trying to PROVE that they are the BIGGEST AND THE BADDEST FIGHTERS IN THE WORLD or trying to PROVE who has the most Power or Speed

Fans who b!tch and complain about those fighters style...just don't know much about boxing, they don't understand what they are watch or why Vitali uses his jab to keep his distance or what B-Hop clinches or why Mayweather don't waste punches and try to throw a bunch of wild punches

your basically brainwashed by Promoters and Networks into only wanting to see Brawlers...because Brawlers styles are SO BASIC and easy to understand

Khan beats Floyd possibly, but the loss to peter gives floyd the excse not to have to fight khan, which suits him as he dont want to.

The Peterson fight doesn't make a difference.

Khan's raw hand speed may win him a few rounds, but ultimately Floyd figures him out and gets the win, possibly by KO since his punches are so accurate.

I think Khan is brilliant and faster than Mayweather from the outside, he just has no inside game and can't take pressure well. Not saying he definitely beats Mayweather but Khan right now is like a better version of Judah in some ways (though with less power) and Judah infamously gave Floyd some problems during the first half of their fight but then gassed out and mentally quit, which is something Khan doesn't do, at least not as bad as Judah.
So as much as it's funny how bad Peterson owned Khan, I actually think that loss has very little relevance towards the outcome of a fight against Mayweather. I think Khan would still give Mayweather major problems and steal a lot of rounds on activity alone.
Funnily enough I agree with a lot of that. Except the part where you said Peterson owned Khan, he didn't, he got a steal and Khan was 'jobbed'.

Mayweather isn't a pressure fighter and doesn't have an inside game worth ****.

              No.

Floyd backed up Ortiz and Mosley. He throws fast, accurate shots and would start to catch Khan coming in after he got a feel for his timing. Floyd would be able to pick off Khan's combos from the outside (because he doesn't commit to those punches) and take advantage.

Khan will realize just flurrying is going to get him knocked out and he will end up slowing his pace down and try to box Floyd more conventionally, which isn't going to get him much farther ahead.

Not too mention Khans defense and ability to slip Floyds punches also isn't going to work out very well.

What may work on other opponents: i.e. flurrying to rack up points, isn't going to work out the same on Floyd.
                  Sums it up quite nicely.
