See how silly that sounded ?
And donaire is an inch shorter than Rios lol, Klitchkos at least canīt move up in weight division, fail analogy.

Ps.- Ok, ok. But Donaire supposedly has great skills... why doesnīt he go to lightweight and stops facing much smaller dudes like this last time. Answer is obvious, he is a *****.

Mares is with gbp and Arce and Donaire are Top Rank fighters. So these fights might not happen. I would love to see Mares fight Donaire.

Why would he do that ?

        He is a bantamweight.

If Donaire was killing himself to make weight.....

1.) there is nothing wrong with that, nothing illegal, nothing unethical, nothing immoral

2.) it is detrimental, and can be easily exploited

Tell me, what do you think of Paul Williams ?

He can fight anywhere he wants if he can make it on the scales and rehydrate to whatever he wants as well, he is within the rules of boxing regardless of his height.

I hate it when people complain about a boxers height. They're called weight divisions not height divisions.

If I recall correctly, Montiel outweighed Donaire on the day they fought. He isn't going to be some freakishly big 122 pounder. Just because someone is tall doesn't mean they're going to be big.

              I agree guys.

The thing is..... back under the original divisional system the average difference between the smallest/largest guy in each division would have been HUGE compared to the smallest/largest in todays multi-divisional system, which is why there is no excuse for catchweights.

A small welter fighting a large middleweight would have been outweighed by 15-20 lbs.

If Donaire can make 118 without killing himself, then good for him..... if he cannot make 118 without killing himself, then he will pay the price in the ring, and hard luck for him.
