I don't know whats worse: Arum blatantly lying to everyone he gives an interview to, or the main stream media that doesn't expose it. The only person that's come close is Dan Rafael, who at least said that Arum's claims of having negotiations are B.S.

My thing is this, who does Mayweather fight on May 5th? I've been thinking about that for the longest cause I honestly don't see this fight happening.

It'll probably be the winner of Berto-Ortiz which I have so little interest for, but a Mayweather-Ortiz II is sellable, that fight in itself has a story. Me personally, I'd love Mayweather vs. Martinez or Bradley but those probably won't come off.

                Lol @ Dom avy

How about the winner of Alexander vs Miadana?

For long as it last a Miadana fight would be fun to watch.

"Mayweather really can't commit anything now, because next week, he's before the courts. So if the trial is going to happen, he can't do the fight," stated promoter Bob Arum during a recent coversation with Ronnie Nathanielsz of the Manila Standard, offering up his latest excuse as to why a potential showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao may not be possible in the near future. Apparently, Arum wants to paint a picture that an upcoming court date for an evidence hearing in his domestic violence case will prevent Mayweather from committing to a future showdown with Pacquiao. Arums comment seems somewhat asinine, however, considering that Mayweather has already committed to fighting on May 5, 2012. In fact, he's so committed that he already has the MGM Grand Garden Arena on hold for that date, a move that he would not have been able to make without first clearing it with the courts.

That's a silly comment and pure speculation, and very far out speculation at that. Did Mayweather consult with the courts when he kept deciding not to turn up time after time for pre-arranged pre-court hearing.

The truth is that we don't know any of their private business, unless we hear it from a close contact. And, so far, Arum is as close as we know about right now.At the same time, he's not making definite statements, he is also speculating, but from a better basis of knowledge.

here we go *** sticking up for the other ***...

arum aint close to floyd, its obvious if floyd is paying millions to his representatives then they were telling him not to worry about the disposition at that time....

Fact mayweather has the date on hold with the venue...

Fact: Mayweather wants to fight pac on this date.

Fact: Arum is pushing manny up to sue floyd, manny is not doing this at all..

Fact: Arum has been caught in so many goddamn lies that syrianuser will have a list compiled of at least 60 excuses by years end....lmao 2 weeks ago it was mannys cut wont be ****in healed...
You talk about close contacts when ben is interviewing floyd closer than anyone else has besides 24/7. He calls ben thompson!!!!! How much closeness to the situation do you need? That you would take the word of one of the mans obvious enemies..
arum aint **** but a liar.... Hopefully he doesnt wake up tomorrow.

                    And **** yeah i said dat ****!!!

And why would it be a problem when Floyd already had a date set aside for the fight.
