    Who’s a silly boy then..

    Who’s a silly boy then..

If anything in your whole life makes you grow up then i hope the 36 minutes you shared with Lamont Peterson was it.

The fouls were quite rightly penalized, Khan was warned time and time again.

Showboating, spending the whole fight trying to prove he can take a shot on the chin.

Running whilst in control, this makes no sense!

Khan, you had this fight signed, sealed and delivered but you blew it. I have no doubt that Khan is still the best man at 140 but the fame and adulation are clearly an issue for this young man.

Get back to basics, you lost the fight and lost a lot of fans on Sat, quite frankly you were a child in a mans sport.

Come on Khan, grow up and show the world the real you.

PS – a HUGE cong**** to Peterson, such heart and determination, attributes ALL boxers should aspire to. Well done.

He wasn't in control at all.

He didn't sit on the ropes because he WANTED to have his brains and ribcage decimated.

He HAD to stay outside, which is a tiring thing to do, especially against an opponent you dont have any respect for, who throws such hard body shots.

When he got tired, he HAD to stop moving.

When he stopped moving, Peterson got inside.

Khan had NO answers for his inside game and couldn't even block the punches for a rest, so all he could do was try and stay away, which for many rounds started to look like survival mode.

The ONLY thing he could do to get off of the ropes was illegally push Peterson away.

The ONLY thing he could do to stop Peterson destroying him when he got inside when away from the ropes, was jump on his neck, grab his arms and headlock him.

When you have to resort to cheating to simply keep yourself from getting a battering, let alone win, because you cant keep up your outside game and you have no inside game, you're not in control.

the Peterson **** riding is getting ridiculous.
He didn't even do enough to win the fight.

He won solely because the ref deducted Khan 2 points.

At least it's not as bad as everyone nuthugging cotto over his C- level win

At least Khan has the class to not assault someone in the ring.

When Khan has to fight inside he crubles. He is open for every shot in the book. It was the same with Maidana. He just gets pounded constantly.

You could also argue that he didn't get to do enough because Khan was ruining the fight with fouling and should have had way more points deducted.

End of the day, people are showing respect to a guy who should be treated with respect.

He did what he should have done in the ring, and it FORCED Khan to HAVE TO foul him and get points taken away so he could reach the 12th round without getting battered.

We are showing as boxing fans what we like and what we dont like to see when we pay for a fight.
