I had this fight 114-111 for Khan, I thought Peterson gave Khan a lot of trouble by constantly being on the attack but was mostly trying to play catch in the last 4 rounds. Khan did keep running but he eventually would find Peterson in the middle of the ring where he let a couple of flurries go, and in the end I had to give him rounds based on landing/throwing more shots.

As far as the pushing, like cmon its pushing. Even Peterson said I had no problem with the shoving but the pushing head down he didn't agree with, which makes sense. But lets be real, I knew the ref wasnt ready for a fight this quick, and action packed since the 2nd rnd. He made a lot of mistakes and I'm not even talking abt the point deductions.

IT was fishy ! At the house here we thought it was fishy and why did it take so long.

The Ref needs to go back to smokers on Saturday afternoon brawls. He loved to warn Khan, and hollar at Khan , he did say to Peterson several times to keep your head up, but nary a point was taking. Fishy ?? yep Fishy!

Joe Cortez, needs to retire !!!!!!!! Refs can wreck a fight like the Ortiz Jr fiasco !

My favorite REF IS SMOGER sp !!

I am concerned as to who will REF the Pac vs JR fight if it ever happens. NOT building a case, but it will be important. If I had it my way Smoger will ref that fight.

The Ref JOE COOPER won the day for Peterson and I won't take NOTHING FROM HIS GREAT PERFORMANCE and all the best CHAMP !!!!! He took the fight to Khan !!

I feel for Khan to lose his belts on a ref's decision, but come on... it was a close fight. Even Roach told him he needed the last two rounds, so why push off after already losing a point?

Why were they looking for someone to tell them that they had won? Isnt that illegal? Why not wait for the official annoucement from the annoucer, You lost now get over it and see if you can get a rematch.

Even wthout the point deduction i feel like peterson won, this was a close fight that could have got either way depending on where the fight took place.

Khans a good fighter, but far from the elite level (pac, may, even cotto). He has flashy hands with some power in the beginning, but gets tired and gets worked for the rest of the fight.

In that sense, yes, he is a hypejob. He even has trouble beating the people he should be beating if he was so great.

Khan didnt do anything to win the fight. Khan did alot of pushing with his elbow/forearm on petersons face, was warned alot, and got penalty points taken away. Deal with it.

Freddie Roach, trainer of Amir Khan, was among the individuals who was informed that his boxer won a twelve round decision over Lamont Peterson. After the fight was over, someone passed over the information to Khan's team - that Amir won a decision. To their surprise, Peterson was announced as the split decision winner with two cards of 113-112 and a third card of 115-110 in favor of Khan.

                      Who by ?

Unless it was by the referee announcing the official score-card, then it doesn't count.

Love to know where Freddie got his inside information, because that dont sound right in itself.
